About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Scrum Master to join our agile development team and facilitate the delivery of high-quality software products. The Scrum Master will be responsible for coaching and guiding the team on agile principles and practices, removing impediments, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities:

Facilitate and lead agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Coach and mentor the development team on agile principles, practices, and values, and help them embrace the Scrum framework.
Remove impediments and blockers that hinder the team's progress and productivity, and escalate issues as needed.
Collaborate with product owners to prioritize backlog items and ensure alignment with business goals and priorities.
Monitor and track team progress and metrics, such as sprint velocity and burndown charts, and communicate status to stakeholders.
Foster a collaborative and transparent team culture, encourage open communication, and promote a mindset of continuous improvement.
Facilitate decision-making processes and help the team resolve conflicts and reach consensus.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification or equivalent agile certification (e.g., PSM, SAFe).

  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master or similar role, with a track record of successfully leading agile teams and delivering software products.

  • Strong understanding of Scrum principles and practices, and experience with agile methodologies (e.g., Kanban, XP).

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with team members and stakeholders.

  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve their goals.

  • Experience working in a software development environment, preferably with knowledge of software engineering practices and tools.
